VETERANS of the Royal Navy gathered today (Friday, May 24) to pay their respects to servicemen who died on the HMS Hood.

The ceremony was held outside Worthing war memorial, in Chapel Road, and was also attended by Worthing mayor Bob Smytherman and family of those who were killed.
