“ As Mayor of Worthing since May 2013 I have been raising awareness of the issues associated with mental illness and am delighted to support Mental Health Research’s depression awareness ‘Blooming Monday’ campaign. It is a great initiative; doing something simple like wearing bright clothes on what has been traditionally ‘Blue Monday’ will remind those we meet that mental health is just as important as physical health. I will be urging my community to join me to brighten up our town on 20th January 2014.”
