I’d just like to let you know briefly about a song and dance video being made to promote Worthing featuring the Mayor.

We are rehearsing and filming during most of August and we need a whole herd of keen dancers and movers to take part in a couple of big scenes.

The dancing is extremely simple, it must be if I can do it!

It will be very effective provided you’re enthusiastic and have a certain amount of timing!

The reason I put dancers and ‘movers’ is because even if you’re NOT confident in the whole dance -which is already short- you can ‘opt’ to do the easier part and be ‘off camera’ when it comes to the second part of the dance (all will be explained!)

So now to the crucial bit…the dates.

We will be holding a brief dance rehearsal at 10-11am on SUNDAY 18th AUGUST at NICOLA MILES’ dance studio at 9, IVY ARCH ROAD, WORTHING BN14 8BX. (upstairs!)

Do please ask if you don’t know where this is?

And the ‘two’ filming dates are:

9am outside the ‘amusement arcade’ on Worthing Pier on MONDAY 19th AUGUST (yes, the day after the rehearsal!)
(with a back-up for bad weather at 9am on TUESDAY 20th AUGUST)

and also…
9.30am on the ‘beach’ out from SPLASH POINT on WEDNESDAY 28th AUGUST  (with a back-up date for bad weather of 11.30am on FRIDAY 30th AUGUST.) These times are both determined by low tide!

Please do come along to the rehearsal if you can possibly make it and do PLEASE let the film make Gary Mobsby know if you are coming …and your availability for either filming date?

(do also please spread the word to others…we simply ‘cannot’ have too many dancers!!)
